Visiting us

I am pleased to inform you that following a COVID-19 risk assessment, my Dressmaking & Tailoring workroom has now re-opened, but only for clients who have pre-arranged their appointment. I am taking all reasonable measures to ensure compliance with the Government's safety rules. Social distancing will be observed as far as possible and to manage the risk of transmission I will wear a mask and gloves during fittings and request customers to do likewise. I have amended my hours slightly and will now open at 10.30 a.m. and will stay later in the evenings to avoid the busiest travel periods. Appointments will need to be more spaced out than previously, to allow for cleaning in-between. Only one client plus one friend or family member will be allowed inside for the appointment and I will have hand sanitiser available to use. You should also note that any items requiring alterations may need to be quarantined for 72 hours before I can work on them. Please phone or use the form above to contact us regarding your future appointment request and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Our studio is at 58 Davies Street, London W1K 5LP, on the 4th Floor above Grays Antiques. There is a lift in the building, as well as stairs. You can find us from the map on the About Us page.

Bond Street Tube Station (Central and Jubilee lines) is just one minute away. Leave by the Davies Street exit of Bond Street tube station, which is in the West One Shopping Centre. Head to the right and you will see Grays Antiques just along the road. Our studio entrance is a little further along Davies Street, up the steps just past Grays' window displays. Press the entry phone button labelled "Barbara F Pellumbi" to gain access. If you come by car you can no longer stop near our door, due to roadworks outside our building for the new Bond Street Crossrail Station. There are pay by phone parking bays in nearby Gilbert Street and Brook Street, but access to them is often restricted.
